Diabetes Training 101™ was established in 2014 by Michelle Archer, Registered Dietitian.

Michelle has worked as a diabetes educator in several First Nations in Southern Saskatchewan where she has seen how the Discovering Diabetes™ program makes a difference in the lives of people living with diabetes. Michelle has trained extensively under both Kris Swenson, RN, CDE and Betty Brackenridge, MS, RD,CDE  and has taken over championing their vision and their work under the Diabetes Training 101™ name.  She is passionate about helping people learn to make a difference in their diabetes outcomes using their own life experiences to guide their journey!

Kris Swenson, RN, CDE and Betty Brackenridge, MS, RD, CDE are diabetes educators who have spent a lot of years (over fifty years between them) listening to their patients.

“We’ve built our programs on what we’ve learned from people who live with this disease and from the best today’s science has to offer. Our patients tell us that living their REAL life and learning through Discovery, learning what works and what needs tweaking, is key to achieving long-term control of their diabetes.”

Diabetes Educators are Saskatchewan Roughrider fans too!
